|Postcard from Malaysia|
whats up guys? i hope you guys doing fine :D
so today I learn a bit more about Malaysia. Puu Gih Jih Temple is a Chinese temple which was build on a hilltop. Climbing to the temple, visitors are treated with a wonderful view of the Labuk Bay. This has become one of the best known places of interest in Sandakan.
Sandakan is a town on the east coast of Sabah, facing the Sulu sea. It is a town rich in historical sites and a gateway to many eco-tourism destinations. To the west of Sandakan lies Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation centre. It is the world oldest and largest OrangUtan Rehabilitation centre.
Sandakan is derived from the Suluk word "sanda" means to pawn and "kan" being the suffix. so "sandakan" means the place that was pawned.
I hope I can learn more, but there's no other informations about this temple :( too bad.
anyway, you can learn more about Malaysia here :)
semoga hari anda baik sahaja!
have a nice day!
