Ssireum, Korean traditional wrestling

Ssireum is one of the korean folk sports played at the national holiday indigenous to korea, such as the dano festival, chuseok. two competitors grab each other by a sash tied around both the waist and upper thigh in the Ssireumpan, which refers to the ground where Ssireum matches are held. A winner gets a bull as a prize.

Floral funeral bier

When a man dies, people took the body in a beautiful floral bier with flower. People went around the village with it. Finally they went to burial ground. During funerals, the corpse is clothed in special attire. The clothing design is the same as that of weddings, but natural colored hemp is used instead. Women from the deceased person's family wear white skirts and coats.

Pottery

The korean pottery is simpler in shapes and more silent in colors than Chinese and Japanese. These characters made the Korean pottery remarkable one of the world's potteries. so the each artistic value of the korean pottery is set high. for choice Celadon, Buncheong stoneware and white porcelain is world wide. they have excellent manufacturing technology of pottery.

Kimjang

Kimjang is a traditional korean event in which winter kimchi is prepared for Um-dong (the coldest 3 or 4 months of winter). The main ingredients of Kimjang Kimchi are korean cabbage and radish.
